1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the GIORIZZ website, mobile applications, or any service operated by GIORIZZ S.r.l. (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

These Terms apply to all users, including B2C customers, B2B agency partners, chauffeur partners, and concierge portal users. Additional terms specific to each user category are outlined in:

In the event of a conflict between these Terms and any category-specific agreement, the category-specific agreement shall prevail for the relevant user category.

2. Service Description

GIORIZZ provides a technology platform connecting passengers with licensed, professional chauffeur services. Our offerings include:

  • Airport transfers and meet-and-greet services
  • City-to-city private transfers
  • Hourly chauffeur hire (disposal service)
  • Curated luxury tours and excursions
  • Event and wedding transportation
  • Corporate mobility solutions
  • VIP and VVIP security-level transport

All vehicles in the GIORIZZ fleet are premium class (E-Class or above), black, fully insured, and operated by licensed NCC (Noleggio Con Conducente) professionals in accordance with Italian Law 21/1992.

Where available, GIORIZZ offers wheelchair-accessible vehicles. Accessibility requirements should be indicated at the time of booking. GIORIZZ will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, subject to vehicle availability in the requested area.

3. Booking & Confirmation

A booking becomes confirmed once you receive a written confirmation (email or in-app notification) from GIORIZZ. Submission of a booking request does not constitute a confirmed reservation until acknowledged by GIORIZZ.

You are responsible for providing accurate pickup/drop-off locations, flight details (where applicable), passenger counts, and any special requirements at the time of booking. Inaccurate or incomplete information may result in service delays or additional charges.

Tour requests are treated as enquiries until a formal price quotation is issued and accepted by the client. No charges apply until a tour offer is accepted.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices displayed at checkout are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are quoted in the currency selected at the time of booking.

4.1 Automated Pricing

GIORIZZ uses an automated pricing engine to calculate quotes based on factors including distance, estimated duration, vehicle class, time of day, and seasonal demand. This pricing constitutes automated processing within the meaning of Article 22 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to request human review of any quote by contacting info@giorizz.com.

4.2 Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking via credit/debit card or other accepted payment methods. B2B agency partners with an approved credit facility may be invoiced according to their agreed billing cycle, as detailed in the Agency Partnership Agreement.

4.3 Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Waiting time exceeding the complimentary waiting period (60 minutes for airport pickups, 15 minutes for all other pickups)
  • Route deviations or additional stops requested during the service
  • Tolls, parking fees, or congestion charges incurred during the ride
  • Child seat or special equipment requests

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations are accepted under the following conditions:

Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method. GIORIZZ does not charge any cancellation processing fee.

GIORIZZ reserves the right to waive cancellation fees at its discretion in exceptional circumstances (e.g., documented flight cancellations, medical emergencies, severe weather). See also Section 9 (Force Majeure).

6. Modifications to Bookings

Modifications to confirmed bookings (date, time, route, vehicle class) are subject to availability and may result in price adjustments. Modification requests must be submitted at least 12 hours before the scheduled pickup.

GIORIZZ will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee availability for last-minute modifications. If a modification results in a higher fare, the difference is charged immediately. If it results in a lower fare, the difference is refunded within 5–10 business days.

7. Passenger Conduct

Passengers are expected to conduct themselves respectfully at all times. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Smoking or vaping inside the vehicle
  • Consumption of alcohol or illegal substances inside the vehicle
  • Verbal or physical abuse towards the chauffeur
  • Any activity that may damage the vehicle interior

GIORIZZ and/or the chauffeur reserve the right to terminate a service in progress without refund if passenger conduct poses a safety risk or violates these Terms. Any damage to the vehicle caused by the passenger will be charged in full.

8. Limitation of Liability

GIORIZZ acts as a technology platform connecting passengers with professional chauffeur services. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • GIORIZZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
  • GIORIZZ's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
  • GIORIZZ is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, strikes, or other force majeure events (see Section 9).

All vehicles in the GIORIZZ network carry comprehensive passenger liability insurance in accordance with applicable Italian and EU regulations.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) any liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

9. Force Majeure

Neither GIORIZZ nor the passenger shall be liable for failure or delay in performing obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the affected party (“Force Majeure Event”), including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, severe weather events, floods, earthquakes
  • Epidemics, pandemics, or public health emergencies
  • Acts of government, war, terrorism, civil unrest, or sanctions
  • Strikes, lockouts, or other industrial action affecting transport infrastructure
  • Failure of telecommunications, internet, or power infrastructure
  • Airport closures, flight cancellations, or airspace restrictions

In the event of a Force Majeure Event affecting a confirmed booking:

  • GIORIZZ will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative arrangement (rescheduling, route change, or substitute vehicle)
  • If no alternative is possible, a full refund will be issued regardless of the standard cancellation window
  • The affected party must notify the other party as soon as reasonably practicable

GIORIZZ evaluates force majeure cancellations on a case-by-case basis with full flexibility. Please contact us immediately if you experience such a situation.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the GIORIZZ platform — including text, graphics, logos, trademarks, images, software, and design — is the property of GIORIZZ S.r.l. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws under Italian law (L. 633/1941, D.Lgs. 30/2005) and applicable EU directives. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or modification is prohibited.

11. Account Security

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You agree to:

  • Use a strong, unique password for your GIORIZZ account
  • Not share your login credentials with any third party
  • Notify GIORIZZ immediately of any unauthorised access or suspected breach at info@giorizz.com

GIORIZZ is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account where such use was not caused by a failure of GIORIZZ security measures.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

GIORIZZ processes personal data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), the Italian Privacy Code (D.Lgs. 196/2003 as amended), and all other applicable data protection laws.

13. Third-Party Services

The GIORIZZ platform integrates with the following third-party services to deliver the Services:

  • Stripe — payment processing (PCI DSS Level 1 certified)
  • Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Twilio — SMS notifications
  • Cloudflare — security (Turnstile CAPTCHA) and CDN
  • Vercel — hosting and anonymised analytics

GIORIZZ is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services beyond what is required by applicable data protection law. Your use of payment services is additionally governed by the payment provider's terms of service.

14. Accessibility

GIORIZZ is committed to making its Services accessible to all users, including persons with disabilities. We endeavour to:

  • Maintain our website in compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA
  • Offer wheelchair-accessible vehicles where available (indicated at booking time)
  • Provide assistance to passengers with mobility requirements upon request

Where accessibility is indicated as a booking requirement, GIORIZZ collects this information as a special category of personal data (health-related, Article 9 GDPR) and processes it solely on the basis of your explicit consent for the purpose of fulfilling your booking.

15. Amendments

GIORIZZ reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will provide at least thirty (30) days' prior notice of material changes via:

  • Email to the address associated with your account
  • A prominent notice on the GIORIZZ website or application

Non-material changes (e.g., typographical corrections, clarifications that do not alter your rights or obligations) may be made without prior notice but will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.

Continued use of the Services after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may terminate your account before the changes take effect.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Italian Republic.

The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is expressly excluded.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan, Italy (Tribunale di Milano).

Notwithstanding the above, if you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence that cannot be derogated by agreement. You may also bring proceedings in the courts of the EU Member State in which you are domiciled, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 (Brussels I Recast).
